During the AGM, CASA introduced two newly elected board members who will play crucial roles in advancing the organization's mission. CASA welcomes Shelley Kirychuk (Canadian Centre for Rural and Agricultural Health) and Trevor Whalley (AgSafe BC) to its Board of Directors.

CASA also announces its new executive team. Peter Sykanda (Ontario Federation of Agriculture), is the newly appointed chair. Jonathan Giret (Elite Agri Solutions Inc.) has taken on the role of vice-chair, Shelley Kirychuk takes on the role of secretary, and Bruce James (AGI) assumes the responsibilities of treasurer.

Dean Anderson and Wendy Bennett (AgSafe BC) will continue their roles as dedicated board members, contributing their expertise and experience to CASA's Board of Directors.

As CASA welcomes new faces, the organization extends its gratitude to departing board members, Dan Trottier and Carolyn Van Den Heuvel, for their dedication and significant contributions during their tenure.

One of the highlights of the AGM was the official reveal of CASA's new brand identity, including a new tagline: "Sharing Knowledge. Protecting People." This fresh branding represents CASA's commitment to its vision of fostering safe and sustainable agriculture where healthy Canadian farm communities thrive.
