The Canadian Potato Council (CPC) is seeking a dynamic individual to represent the $1.2 billion sector. Issues of national significance are plant health, trade, marketing, certification and crop protection.

The Ottawa-based council consists of two elected representatives in each of eight major potato-producing provinces. It is housed within the Fruit & Vegetable Growers of Canada in Ottawa.

The successful candidate for the Potato Portfolio Manager will report to CPC chair Bill Zylmans. This leadership role manages the activities of the CPC and works closely with member organizations and federal government officials.
